Monaghan County Council are advising people in the wider Castleblayney area of a major water main burst today.
The local authority says a major trunk watermain burst has occurred on the supply to Castleblayney, affecting Castleblayney Town Centre, Annyalla, Clontibret ,Shabra, Bree Estate, and the Bree Rd area.
Repair crews are on site currently but water supplies to these areas will be disrupted throughout today.

Monaghan County Council Water Services and Irish Water have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
