The abolition of Local Property Tax would cost €4 million in Cavan and €3 million in Monaghan.
That's according to figures released by Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe in response to a parliamentary question from Pearse Doherty.
Nationally, the total figure for removing the tax would cost €554 million in a single year.
Dublin City would cost the most at €101 million of the total amount.
The figures provided assume that 0% Local adjustment factor is applied by each local authority.
