Local people struggling to get onto the Monaghan property ladder are being urged to register their interest ahead in the first affordable housing scheme in Monaghan.
Local authority officials have announced the rollout of an online application portal for a housing development consisting of 10 homes at Station View, Kilnacloy, Monaghan.
This is the first scheme of its kind in County Monaghan. A total of 10 Homes will be available, comprising of 2 No. Two Bedroom End of Terrace Minimum sale price €215,000, 2 No. Three Bedroom Mid Terrace Minimum Sale Price €224,000, and 6 No. Three Bedroom Semi - Detached Minimum Sale Price €244,950.
The properties are open to people who are first time buyers or qualify under the 'Fresh Start Principle'. Applications will be assessed in line with Monaghan County Council's Scheme of Priority. The date and time of valid application will be one of the criteria on which eligible applications will be prioritised under the Council's Scheme of Priority.
