Almost €12,000 in forfeited bail money was collected by local district courts last year.
The figures were issued to Ireland South MEP, Cynthia Ní Mhúrchú.
According to the figures released by the Courts Service, 13 people skipped bail in Monaghan District Court last year.
This meant Monaghan District Court held onto €3,210 in bail money.
While in Cavan, 10 people failed to show up to court, totaling €8,710 in forfeited bail money.
Dublin topped the poll of bail skippers, with 334 people failing to show up to court, totaling €80,000.
