€263,840 worth of redemptions of the Monaghan Town Voucher have been made so far this year.
In a recent report, the Monaghan Municipal District was told that the total sales for 2021 amounted to almost €1.2 million euro (€1,191,330).
The majority of this was generated through sales in November and December and came to €815,430.

In December redemptions of the voucher came to €77,400.
While the Town Team says this is hugely positive, they're encouraging people to continue to spend their vouchers as each outlet participates in the scheme voluntarily with no commission.
