Almost €30m in motor tax paid in Cavan & Monaghan

Almost €30 million in revenue from motor tax was collected last year in Cavan and Monaghan.

According to figures released by the Minister for Transport, €15.5 million was collected in Cavan and €13.3 million in Monaghan

So far this year €5.1 million in revenue from car tax has been made across both counties. This is made up of €2.77 million in Cavan and €2.41 million in Monaghan. In total last year, the Government collected €924 million in revenue from motor tax.
