The charity ALONE has launched its Christmas campaign supporting older people over the festive season.
The group hope to provide up to 2 thousand Christmas dinners through its network of volunteers and partners nationwide.
9 thousand ALONE volunteers have been a main source of support to the elderly this year, with the organisation urging people to call in and visit the older people in their lives over the holiday period.
