An Alzheimer's Memory Walk will take place across the Northern Sound region this Sunday to mark World Alzheimer's Day.
Now in its sixth year, the Alzheimer's Memory Walk supported by Aviva is a nationwide event that will take place in almost 40 locations.
The event gives families, friends and those living with dementia the opportunity to come together to share old memories and to make new ones.
There are two Cavan Alzheimer's Memory Walk supported by Aviva taking place.
The first took place today at the Slieve Russell Hotel and the second takes place tomorrow at Con Smith Park starting at 11am.
The Monaghan Alzheimer's Memory Walk will take place tomorrow also along the Ulster Canal Walk in Clones starting at 12noon.
