An Post is guaranteeing delivery of almost 50 thousand parcels in time for Christmas, despite the closure of the Holyhead route.
Anna McHugh, Head of Corporate Communications at An Post, says everything they receive to their hubs will be delivered - but it's important customers check their UK delivery date with the retailer:
"Many of the UK retailers have now found ways in to Ireland and are still going to be able to deliver in time for Christmas. Shoppers really need to check with individual retailers to see what kind of delivery date they're offering and everything we receive by t21st December we will be able to deliver in time for Christmas."
