Kevin Smith sadly passed away on December 29th 2022. Kevin was a much loved man in the community who endeared himself to so many people in different walks of life and he has truly left a lasting impression on those he met through his friendliness and good humour.

He was a former treasurer of his native club Killygarry and after he moved to live in Crosserlough he quickly became involved with the club serving as vice-chairman and then chairman and was development officer at the time of his passing.

Declan Smith chair of the Christmas lights parade in Cavan and a dear friend of the late Kevin Smith says this event is about remembering the popular man and very much about bringing people together.
