An appeal has issued for the return of a pony that was stolen from a field in Co Monaghan over the weekend.
The white and black pony was stolen during the timeframe of late last night and early this morning.
The small sized mare was taken from a field in Drumberagh, Laragh, Castleblaney and anyone in the area is being asked to check CCTV footage from the wider area following the theft.
Castleblayney Gardai have been notified and if anyone witnessed anything suspicious around that time period they are being asked to contact them on 042 9747900.
