Gardai in Co Cavan are appealing for information in relation a number of burglaries reported over the month of March. According to Garda Lisa Stevens of Bailieboro Garda Station, anyone with information is asked to come forward and assist investigating officers. Gardai in Bailieboro are investigating a burglary that occurred in Drumlin Manor on the 2nd of March. A side glass panel of a door was smashed to gain entry. The culprit did not gain anything of value and was possibly disturbed. If you can recall any persons acting suspicious near Drumlin Manor or Kurkish Lane on the 2nd of March between the hours of 9 and 9:30pm, Gardaí want to hear from you. Also in the Bailieboro area, Gardai are investigating a burglary that occurred at the health centre on the Kells Road on the night of the 7th of March. The incident occurred between midnight and 10am. Entry was gained via a bathroom window. While no damage done to the property some small food items were taken. Elsewhere, Gardai in Cootehill are investigating a burglary which occurred on the 14th of March between 2 and 4:40pm in Killatee, Maudabawn. The homeowner left the property during these times and on their return found the ransacked. Entry was gained by breaking glass on the rear door and again the culprits efforts proved fruitless but caused great distress to the home owner. With regards to all incidents, Garda Lisa Stevens of Bailieboro Garda Station is encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
