Gardai in Co Cavan have made a public appeal in relation to a number car thefts.
Gardai in Cavan are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle from a property in Kilnavara Heights between hours of 11:30pm 3rd May to 10am 4th May.
A white Volkswagen caddy van was stolen. Gardai subsequently recovered the vehicle later in Ballyjamesduff.
In Drumora, Crossdoney, gardai are looking for information on the whereabouts of black Toyota Yaris with northern registration plates.
This vehicle broke down on 22nd May and was pulled in safely off the road.
When the owner returned the vehicle was gone. Anyone with information is asked to give Gardaí in Arva a call.
Elsewhere in Kilconny, Belturbet a male ton the 24th of May turned up to look at a vehicle which was for sale. The vehicle was a red Audi A3 with partial reg 171D
After the test drive the male along with the vehicle owner returned to Kilconny, both went to exit the vehicle however the male got back in and drove away.
This vehicle is believed to have crossed over the border. Anyone who can assists Gardaí is asked to get in touch
