Appeal issued over vandalism in Emyvale

The sign was damaged and taken down just over one hour after it was initially put up.

Concerns have been raised over damage caused to a wildlife sign beside the river on the Drummully Road.

The sign was vandalised on Tuesday night and had to be removed by volunteers for safety reasons.

In a statement posted online, Emyvale Tidy Towns said it was "sad and annoyed" for the many volunteers who have given their time and enthusiasm to the local area.
