Planning permission has been granted for a new tourism development in Monaghan. Jack McElwaine applied to Monaghan County Council to construct a new glamping site in Comertagh, Carrickmacross.
The site would consist of six new glamping pods, a storage building, internal paths, and a car parking area. A new entrance and exit onto the public road is also part of the application.
County planners gave the go-ahead for the development with 11 conditions attached.
