Shane Dobson from Arva will represent Cavan at the 17th Annual Mr Personality Festival which is being organised by Kilkenny County Macra na Feirme. The festival will take place during the 5th and 6th of April at The Talbot Hotel, Clonmel. 22-year-old Shane is an active member of Three Province Macra na Feirme and has listed setting up the Three Provine Macra club in 2020 as one of his most memorable Macra moments.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Shane believes he will make a good representative for Cavan because he is not afraid to speak up, be honest and help other people reach their potential. The Arva native is also encouraging others to reach out and get in touch with their local Macra group; "Since we've joined Macra and set up our own club there's been two more Macra clubs set up in Cavan which makes a total of six now and highlights how the Macra community is thriving in Co Cavan."
