A Ballybay woman is encouraging people of all ages to learn CPR and help save a life.
Sheila Lindon taught in Ballybay Community College for 40 years and now works as a first aid instructor with local schools and businesses. Speaking to Northern Sound, Sheila said that groups of community first
responders are situated right across Co Monaghan. Despite this, a serious need for the service was highlighted in the Ballybay/Tullycorbet areas. According to Sheila, first responders from the Cremartin/Annyalla areas were called to incidents in both Ballybay and Tullycorbet over the Christmas period. Sheila says it's important for every community to have first responders on hand to help those in their time of need:
