Belturbet Road re-opened after three-vehicle crash

Earlier this morning, the PSNI issued a statement to say the Belturbet Road, which is the main Enniskillen to Dublin route, was opened again.

The Belturbet Road on the Fermanagh side of the border has re-opened following a serious crash yesterday evening. Six people including a child were taken to hospital after the collision which involved three vehicles.

Just before 5pm yesterday, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a call about the multi-vehicle RTC and sent six emergency crews and other personnel to the scene.

Four of those involved in the crash were taken to the South West Acute Hospital in Enniskillen, one to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and one to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children. Earlier this morning, the PSNI issued a statement to say the Belturbet Road, which is the main Enniskillen to Dublin route, was opened again.
