Black Island will reopen tomorrow to mark the 10th year of the annual Park Run in Castleblayney.
Ongoing works across the area were hampered by fallen timber as a result of Storm Éowyn.
The popular amenity will only open on a "phased basis" starting later this morning with the Park Run commencing at 9:30am.

The annual Muckno Mania event is also underway in Castleblayney this weekend.
Speaking to Shannonside Northern Sound, he complimented the Muckno Mania team on all the hard work and dedication put into this year's event.
He also encouraged people to come along to this year's event and experience first-hand what Castleblayney has to offer.
