Gardaí have stood down a missing person appeal following the discovery of a body in Cavan this morning.
Brendan Gilsenan, a 51-year-old man from Tullyco, Co. Cavan, was reported as missing from his home since Monday of this week.
Gardaí have confirmed to Shannonside Northern Sound News that a body has been found following a missing alert issued last night.
