Both vehicle fires on N3 / M3 have been cleared

The second of two vehicle fires on the N3 / M3 this morning has been dealt with. Transport Infrastructure Ireland confirmed the vehicle on fire on M3 / N3 between Junction 7 - Skreen / Kilmessan and Junction 6 - Dunshaughlin (Southbound) has been cleared.

Earlier this morning, services cleared another vehicle on fire on the same road. In that case, the vehicle in question was on fire on the N3 /M3 between Junction 9 - NAVAN and Junction 10 - Kells (Northbound).

The only lanes affected in that incident according to Traffic Infrastructure Ireland was the hard shoulder
