The N55 is closed between Corlurgan outside Cavan Town and Ballinagh following a serious road traffic collision this afternoon. Local Gardaí and emergency services are currently at the scene of the incident which has been descried to Northern Sound as "serious. "
While the road is expected to be closed for some time, locals are advised to avoid the area while diversions have been put in place by Cavan County Council.
