Businesses express concern over lack of parking in Ballyjamesduff

Rate payers and businesses in Ballyjamesduff have expressed their concerns over the lack of parking available in the town.

At a recent Ballyjamesduff MD meeting, councillor Trevor Smith reiterated local concerns, particularly in relation to the Dublin Street area.

The proposal was supported by councillor Shane P O'Reilly, who believes that local businesses in the area should receive all the help they can to alleviate such pressures.

He says businesses have been "through enough" financially as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, and don't need locals going elsewhere due to a lack of parking.
