Cabinet ministers are expected to formally back Ireland's bid to co-host Euro 2028 this morning.
The FAI is seeking to jointly stage the tournament with England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The government's set to support the bid ahead of tomorrow's UEFA deadline, with a decision expected next month.
