Works have been substantially completed on a sensory garden at the Peace Link in Clones with planting and snagging to be completed in the spring.
Cllr Richard Truell welcomed the news at this week's sitting of the Ballybay-Clones MD.
While welcoming the news, Cllr Truell said he believes that playparks in both Ballybay and Clones are in need of sensory areas also.
The Fine Gael representative said that going forward, he plans to push for funding towards such amenities in both Ballybay and Clones.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr Truell said it's important for children and their families to have facilities like this in the local area.
