A Cavan County Councillor has called for a traffic calming policy in Cavan towns and villages.
TP O'Reilly highlighted the issue at a recent meeting of Cavan County Council.
He highlighted the need for a set of guidelines that would be universal across the county.
The Fine Gael councillor noted that this would give more guidance on what can and can't be done.
In the meeting, he requested the council to address the need for a traffic calming policy coming into towns and villages across the county.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Cllr O'Reilly highlighted the benefit of introducing guidelines.
