Calls for a local transport study for Ballyjamesduff for the lifetime of the newly adapted county development plan received unanimous support from members of Cavan Co Council.
The calls from Cllr Sarah O’Reilly came during a meeting of the local authority which was held to discuss proposals for the draft county development plan 2022-2028.
Cllr O’Reilly highlighted the importance of the study for the future development of the Co Cavan town.

Meanwhile, proposals made at the meeting will be incorporated into the plan before it goes out for public consultation once more.
It is anticipated the new plan will be fully implemented later this year.
