A local councillor has called for repair works to be carried out at Lannat Bridge in Inniskeen.
Serious damage was caused to the bridge as a result of a vehicle striking it some time ago.
The bridge in question was damaged some time ago, and was completely refurbished.

According to Cllr Noel Keelan, these bridges are "so important" for many reason including the fact that they are important local landmarks and were constructed in very difficult times by those that have gone before us.
He says local residents are "anxious" to see this local landmark repaired.
As a result, he has called for works to be carried out "as soon as possible:
