€25,000 worth of cannabis, illegal cigarettes and a mix of euro and sterling cash was seized following the search of a house in Cavan.
The search was carried out after a man was arrested for road traffic offences when he failed to stop for Gardai in Cavan on Tuesday afternoon.
At a property in Arva, Gardai seized €18,000 worth of cannabis herb, €6,400 of worth cannabis plants, as well as €27,000 worth of illegal cigarettes.

Cash to the value of €42,000 and £8,360 were also discovered.
Investigations are ongoing.
