Cavan Roads Policing Unit was out in force yesterday and detected a number of motorists without driving licences. One motorist was driving without a licence, insurance or NCT.
The car was detained and the driver was subsequently charged under the Road Traffic Act. Meanwhile, a disqualified driver was detected at a multi-agency checkpoint.
This car was also taken off the road while the driver was arrested and charged accordingly.
