Gardaí have seized €2,000 of suspected cannabis and €36,000 in cash following a raid at a property in Cavan Town over the weekend.
The search was conducted last Saturday the 8th of June, as part of Operation Tara. During the search, gardaí recovered cash amounting to €36,000 and a quantity of cannabis valued at €2,000.
A man in his late 20s was arrested and subsequently charged to appear before the courts at a later date. Local Gardai say investigations are ongoing.
