The Castle Leslie Estate in Co Monaghan has won the overall prize this year’s Gold Medal Awards.
The annual awards aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the hospitality industry from across the country.
Now in its 36th year, the glitzy ceremony took place on Tuesday evening at the Galmont Hotel & Spa in Galway.

The overall winner was Castle Leslie Estate, Co. Monaghan who was crowned Ireland’s favourite place to stay.
The Glaslough hotel also picked up the Ulster regional title in the same category too.
The winning at the event wasn’t finished for Castle Leslie yet as they took home a bronze placing for Ireland’s four star hotel at prestigious awards.
