Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of almost €1400 has been seized in Castleblayney.
As part of ongoing investigations targeting local drugs distribution networks, Gardaí searched a residential property in the town on Saturday.
“Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €1380 was discovered.

A man aged in his 50s was arrested in connection with the seizure.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before the Monaghan District Court later this month.
The drugs will be forwarded to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
