Castlerahan G.F.C have applied to Cavan County Council for planning permission for a new GAA pitch.
The purposed development on the Granard Road in Ballyjamesduff would see the development of a new pitch, a perimeter fence, lighting, a biodiversity walking trail, drainage works, and a carpark.
The lands that are currently used for agricultural purposes if given green light would also see, the erection of goal posts, ball stop netting, creation of new site boundaries and all associated ancillary works. County planners will decide on the application at the start of April.
