Cavan is among the counties with the lowest amount of business closures according to new research.
A study carried out by Procure.ie analysed the CRO data of the 3,250 closures so far this year across the country.
Cavan was the fourth lowest, with 19 businesses shutting up shop so far this year, compared to Dublin, which has had over 1,000 businesses close their doors in 2025.
Mayo has the lowest rate of closures followed by Kilkenny, Offaly, Cavan, and Laois.
The five highest were Dublin, Louth, Clare, Meath, and Wicklow.
