A Cavan homeless charity says it is prepared for an increase in referrals this winter.
Sleep Out Cavan provides support to rough sleepers in the county, as well as collecting clothing to be used by homeless people in Dublin.
Teresa Walsh is the new manager of the charity, she says more people are being left looking for new accommodation because landlords are evicting them or increasing rents.

She told Shannonside Northern Sound that they'll help out families in any way they can.
