As part of its anti-dumping initiative, Cavan County Council is hosting a bulky waste drop off day this morning.
It's being held at the Corranure Civic Amenity Centre until 12.30pm.
Those attending can drop off clean and dry mattresses, upholstered furniture, bedroom and kitchen furniture, household flooring, and hard plastics.

There is a disposal fee of 5 euro per vehicle and trailer, and the service is for domestic households only.
Normal charges will apply for all other waste items presented on the day.
