Cavan creche owner says government funding is "cautiously welcomed"

A Cavan crèche owner has "cautiously welcomed" government funding for the sector.

In this week's budget, a record 716 million euro was announced for childcare next year.

It will go towards recruiting and retaining staff, as well as freezing fees for parents.
