Irish designer Margaret Coyne Couture has debuted her 'Loinnir Collection' in Paris for Paris Fashion Week and is flying the flag for Ireland.
The rising star whose journey from Dowra in Co Cavan to the prestigious stage of Paris Fashion Week is as captivating as the gowns she creates.
Margaret is the only Irish designer in the 'Flying Solo One's to Watch' show which took place today at 3pm Irish time.
The Cavan-based designer says "showing at Paris Fashion Week is every designer's dream" and she is "thrilled" to represent Ireland on this stage with her collection.
Speaking to Northern Sound, Margaret said today's debut marks a landmark moment, celebrating both craftsmanship and creative ambition: "It feels absolutely amazing, it's so exciting and this whole experience has been a real pinch me moment. I just can't believe I'm here debuting this collection at Parish Fashion Week. I'm very proud to be here representing Ireland, there's people from all over the world here and it feels great to be fluing the Irish flag here at Paris Fashion Week, it's been a huge honour."
