A Cavan family are gearing up to prove themselves as Ireland's fittest family.
The Stratford's from Virginia will, represent Cavan on the hit RTE show this Sunday evening.
The Stratford's are no strangers to challenges, as they thrive in mountain running, kayaking, and the pursuit of 'absolute hardship'.
New presenter Laura Fox is on the hunt to find the nation's Fittest Family. She's not the only new kid on the block, as legendary athlete Sonia O'Sullivan will be joining Nina Carberry, Davy Fitzgerald and Donncha O'Callaghan. The coach's will push the families to their limits and over the finish line for the coveted title and €15,000.
Barry along with his brother Daniel and with their parents will feature on the popular programme this Sunday evening at 6.30pm. Barry says he looking forward to seeing himself and members of his family battle it out on TV this weekend.
