The Board of Cavan GAA have stated there are a number of alternatives for matchgoers who aren't able to purchase tickets online.
It comes as Monaghan GAA confirmed that cash would be taken at the turnstiles for upcoming club games. In a statement, Cavan GAA say they have being using an online ticketing system since 2020 and this has been widely used and proven very successful. The board also say they realise there are a small number of people who cannot or do not wish to use this platform. A book of five championship match tickets can be bought for €50 and these are available from the Kingspan Breffni office, club secretaries and gate personnel on matchdays. These can be used for entry to any championship game run by Cavan GAA and can be carried forward to the following year if not used. The board also clarify that online tickets can be bought for another person who then can be admitted into a game without having to be scanned entry. Finally, Cavan GAA say club championship tickets can be bought at Kingspan Breffni at any time, as well as a Season Pass to assist Senior Citizens gain access to championship games
These passes have unlimited use for entry to all championship games up to and including semi finals at a cost of €90.
