Gardai are investigating after a trailer was stolen from a house in the Corriga area of Stradone on the 7th October. The incident occurred between the hours of 1pm and 4:30pm
Anyone that noticed anything suspicious in the area at the time is asked to contact Gardai in Cavan on 049 4368800.
Meanwhile, Gardai in Bailieboro are investigating the theft of a catalytic converter from a parked car at Dun na Rí Forest Park in Kingscourt between the hours 5:30pm and 6:30pm on Wednesday the 5th October.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Bailieboro Gardai on 042 9694570. "Catalytic converters are located on the exhaust system and can be cut and stolen from a car in minutes. They are targeted for the high metal value they contain. If you notice suspicious activity please always contact your local Garda Station," added a Garda spokesperson.
