A Cavan man has shared his recent experience of a health scare after collapsing in a car park on the Ballinagh Road.
Philip spoke on the Joe Finnegan show today about how a passer-by came to his assistance, placing him in the recovery position and remaining with him until emergency services arrived.
All Philip knows about the passerby is that she was a woman named Theresa from Kilnaleck, he would like to make contact with her to properly thank her.
He also praised paramedics, an off-duty firefighter who arrived on the scene, and staff at Cavan General Hospital for the care they took of him, and noted that the care was delivered with kindness.
He spent four days in hospital before being discharged and is now recovering well at home.
