This figure increased substantially with 442 children left waiting more than a year for treatment in December 2024.
The data was released by the HSE in a parliamentary response to Marie Sherlock, Labour's health spokesperson.
The HSE said it acknowledged the challenges in meeting the demand for children's disability services and was acutely conscious of how this issue affected children and their families.
