A Cavan-Monaghan TD has criticised the likely make-up of the 34th Dáil.
Negotiations have been ongoing between Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil, and Independents to form the next Government.
Convener of the Regional Independent Group North Tipperary TD Michael Lowry, has made headlines after Gardaí sent a file to the DPP regarding the findings of the Moriarty Tribunal. Gardaí are investigating if charges should be brought following the Tribunal's investigation into payments made to politicians including Charles Haughey and Michael Lowry. It also looks at the relationship between Lowry and businessman Denis O'Brien.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show this morning, Sinn Féin TD for Cavan-Monaghan, Cathy Bennett, says she hopes the public takes note of who Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael are negotiating with.
