Gardaí in Cavan are reminding people to drive safely and stay within the speed limits.
Yesterday, Cavan Roads Policing Unit detected a motorcyclist travelling at 171km on the N55 which has a 100km limit.
The motorcyclist was arrested for dangerous driving and is charged to court.

The motor bike was seized under section 109a RTA and the owner must now apply to the courts for its return.
