Speaking on the Joe Finnegan show today, Shannon explained the importance of the job.
"We deal with a variety of patients throughout the day. So not every day is the same as a paramedic. No two days are the same. We could either go out to car crashes, we go out to people who have suffered seizures, unconscious patients, cardiac arrests or mental health calls. So I have a very unique job it is a very rewarding job. No two days are the same and you get to meet lovely people along the way including patients and their family members."
