Cavan's Red Cross branch is appealing for financial donations for the relief effort in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
It's all part of the organisation's national effort to help and support Ukrainian refugees arriving in bordering countries.
Julie O'Brien from Bailieborough says the appeal will allow the Red Cross to provide those fleeing from their homes - as a result of Russia's invasion of key Ukranian cities - with food, clothing and shelter.

She added that it was all about getting supplies and services to where they are needed most.
