A County Cavan primary school has been given the go-ahead for added classroom accommodation.
Corlis National School sought planning from Cavan County Council to construct a single storey extension comprising 140m2 of additional accommodation together with alterations to existing school building.
The permission also allows for a new roadside boundary wall and fencing and ancillary works.

County planners gave the local school the greenlight in recent days with five conditions attached.
