Three Cavan primary schools - Killyconnan National School; Scoil Bhríde Killeshandra and Crosserlough National School - are amongst four to have qualified for the live 'Ulster final' of this year's competition to find Ireland's Fittest School 2026.
Crosserlough National School were grand finalists last year.
The competition is supported by Fyffes and tracked online.
Now in its fifth year, the competition is to promote the importance of exercise, fitness, and healthy eating amongst young people.

The Ulster final will take place at Bawnacre Centre Irvinestown, Co. Fermanagh, in early May.
The top school from each of the Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster provincial finals will then progress to the grand final in Athlone on May 20th.
